Refund Policy

There is a seven-day trial precisely so that nobody has to buy in order to find out. That is why this policy can afford to be generous rather than defensive.

1. Fourteen days, no reason needed

Write to [email protected] within 14 days of buying a licence on this website and we will refund it in full. Include the Device ID and the email address you bought with. You do not have to explain why.

The licence is deactivated when the refund is issued.

2. Always refundable, whenever it happens

Outside the 14 days we will still refund you when:

• The licence will not activate the device it was bought for, and we cannot fix it.
• You were charged twice for the same device.
• You bought a licence on this website for a Google Play or Amazon Appstore installation, where it was never going to apply. We would rather refund this than argue about it — and the build selector on the front page exists to stop it happening.
• We withdraw the product, for the unused part of a yearly licence.

3. There is nothing to cancel

A yearly licence is a single payment for one year. It does not renew and we never charge you again without your asking, so there is no subscription to cancel and no renewal that can catch you by surprise. When the year ends the app returns to its unactivated state and you buy another licence if you want one.

4. What we will not refund

• A licence ended because of a breach of the licence agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Anything you paid to someone else. We are a player; we sell no content and take no money for any. If a provider has taken your money and stopped supplying you, we have no part in that transaction and no way to reverse it.

A source that stops working is not a fault in the player, but tell us anyway — if it turns out to be ours, section 2 applies.

5. How and how fast

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with; we cannot send one anywhere else. We aim to issue within 2 business days of agreeing it. Your bank then takes its own time, usually 5–10 days.

6. Google Play and Amazon

If you bought inside the app, the store took the payment and only the store can refund it. Use Google Play's or Amazon's own refund process. Write to us anyway if you are stuck — we can often tell you what happened.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces rights you have under the law where you live, including any statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract.
